MARAFW is a custom firmware meticulously crafted to fine-tune the individual chip settings of Bitcoin miners, enhancing their performance, efficiency, and operational stability. This innovative firmware empowers miners with precise control over their mining hardware while optimizing power consumption for peak efficiency.
Hashrate Optimization
MARAFW optimizes each individual chip by finding the best voltage and frequency combination to boost the performance, while maintaining optimal efficiency. Unlike manual optimization methods, MARAFW's autotuning functionality operates seamlessly, requiring minimal intervention. Coupled with automatic temperature control, miners can achieve peak performance without the need for constant adjustments.
Users can select from several modes tailored to their specific needs. The "Stock Hashrate" mode delivers a hashrate akin to stock firmware while enhancing efficiency. Alternatively, the "Power Target" autotuning mode elevates hashrate while allowing users to define their desired power consumption. Load balancing
Efficient load balancing is crucial for every mining operation, regardless of its electricity source. Previously, farm operators had to manually balance loads by shutting down miners entirely—an inefficient and time-consuming process. With MARAFW's optimization options, operators can easily adjust power consumption across their fleet, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Unlike traditional methods that drastically reduce hashrates, underclocking the entire fleet through MARAFW results in a more modest drop in hashrate. This sophisticated approach maintains high performance levels while lowering power consumption. Additionally, underclocked machines remain online and easily controllable, ensuring swift restoration to full power when needed.
Temperature control
MARAFW's "set and forget" philosophy extends to temperature control with its Intelligent Thermal Protection (ITP) feature. This feature enables continuous device operation, even during significant ambient temperature fluctuations. Automatically triggered based on device temperature, ITP safeguards against overheating and hardware damage by underclocking machines as needed. Once temperatures stabilize, ITP automatically restores optimal mining performance.
This feature ensures uninterrupted operation and minimizes the risk of hardware damage, even in challenging environmental conditions. ITP is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. More information about ITP can be found here.
